Construction Drainage Survey
We have created our Construction Surveys specifically for proving the condition of the Drainage and handover processes unique to the construction industry.
This includes a Survey Report and Drainage Layout that can be used for your as-built drawings. Any defects or problems that we find are highlighted on the report allowing for easy location and repair works.
When carrying out Drainage Surveys on construction sites our Surveyors often work alongside our Jet Vacs, this allows the Drains to be cleared, surveyed and handed over easily.
To make a Construction Drainage Survey booking you can give us a call, email or alternatively fill in the enquiry form below and we will get back to you.

Step 1 - Preparing
You can get the process underway by calling, emailing or simply filling out the enquiry form on this page. Once you have made contact we will gather as much information as possible from your business. Consider which drawings you would like the Survey to be overlaid onto? Are there any access restrictions to your site? Bespoke Health & Safety requirements for entry? Or Confined Space entries? If the Drains are expected to be full of silt we can arrange a Jetvac to pre clean the lines.
Step 2 - Surveying
Once the Survey has been booked in one of our qualified Surveyors will arrive to your site and carry out the Drainage Survey. As part of all of our Surveys we create a Drainage Layout (as built), we believe this allows for an easy to read map of your Drainage that can be cross referenced with the Survey Report once it has been completed. This is typically overlaid onto the proposed Drainage Layouts or Site Layout for your Site.
Step 3 - Report Analysis
Upon completion of the Drainage Survey we begin our final stage, Report Generation & Report Analysis. During the generation of the report our Surveyor assigned to your project will identify defects within the Drainage Network, as each fault is found the Surveyor utilises our Construction and Repairs Managers to build the most cost effective and economic solutions. This ensures that when our reports are handed over they contain all the defect information and most importantly how we can resolve your problems including the associated costs involved. This process takes around 5 days to complete depending on the network complexity and size.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the drainage survey be used for our handover process?
Yes the Surveys are designed to highlight and prove the current condition of the Drainage Network.
A CCTV Drainage Survey is the best way to see a defective drain. Using a Drainage Survey allows us to locate the problem then build a plan on how to repair the Drainage for you.
Can You Locate where our Drainage is and where it is running to?
As long as we have points of access like manhole or inspection chamber, we can identify where the Drainage comes from and goes to. If you have any existing plans of the area to be Surveyed we can review this and advise of any blind entry points which could present a problem.
Can you submit RAMS beforehand?
Yes all our RAMs can be sent before works are due to be carried out. Any special requirements such as confined space entry may require a visit beforehand by one of our Surveyors.
Any special requirements for your business should be explained pre-start to ensure they are included in our RAMS.
Will the Drains Survey Report tell us how to fix the problem?
Our Drainage Layouts and Drains Survey reports are used for by ourselves to build a plan of action on how to get your Drainage Network functioning should a problem be found. The Survey report includes and explanation of the defect and proposed remedy, this includes prices for the repairs. You can then choose if you would like to proceed with the repairs, this is then handled by our installation and repairs teams.
